Beifang Mining Technology Services (Namibia) (Pty) Ltd is seeking to appoint a Data Clerk. The data clerk will oversee timekeeping and attendance, bridging the gap between our workforce and operations, ensuring accuracy while leveraging technology to improve processes. Division: HR (Rossing Site).
Key Responsibilities
- Record, monitor, and reconcile employee time and attendance data daily
- Maintain accurate timesheets and flag discrepancies for resolution
- Generate basic statistical reports and summaries for management review
- Support general office administration tasks including filing, scheduling, and correspondence
- Liaise with staff, supervisors, and payroll to resolve time-related queries
- Assist with data entry, tracking, and system updates as required
- Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy across all records
- Assist with yearly and quarterly audits.
Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate
- Advantageous tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Administration, HR, or tech related field
- Advantageous prior experience in timekeeping, payroll support, or office administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially EXCEL
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical
- A strong aptitude for learning new technical tools is highly valued.
- Advantageous exposure to time & attendance systems or HR software
