DUTY STATION: Onandjaba Village Council
DUTY STATION: Uis Village Council
Duration: 5 Year renewable Contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Council’s operations on business principles.
- Achieving the Council vision and mission.
- Promotion of financial self-sustainability.
- Policy Implementation.
- Supervision and Co-ordination of all Departments.
- Implementation of Council Strategic Objectives.
- Human Resources Development and Maintenance of Discipline.
- Corporate Communication and Customer Care.
- Accounting Officer in terms of the Local Authorities Act, 1992 (Act No. 23 of 1992) as amended.
Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree at NQF Level 7 in Public Management Administration, Business Administration, plus 5 years’ experience at overall supervisory or at middle management.
- Be a Namibian citizen.
- Profound knowledge of local governance.
- A sense of integrity.
- Leadership and management skills.
Salary
Salary scale: N$202,825 – N$211,020 .00 per annum; Basic salary: N$ 202,825.00 per annum; Motor Vehicle Allowance: N$110,917.00 per annum Housing Allowance: 40% of basic salary Cell phone Allowance: N$1,200.00 per month Pension Contribution: 21.7% per month Medical Contribution: 90% per month
