Key Responsibilities

• History and Geography Grades 8-9; must be able to teach Social Studies.

Requirements

• A recognised 3 years tertiary teaching qualification on NQF level 6.
• Or: An appropriate recognised 3 years tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 6 in relation to the school subject to be taught plus a 1 year teaching qualification.
• Or: An appropriate recognised 3 years tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 6 plus a recognised trade test plus 1-year teaching qualification.
• A recognised 4-year tertiary qualification on NQF level 7.
• Or: An appropriate recognised 4 years tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 7 in relation to the school subject to be taught plus a 1 year teaching qualification.
• Or: An appropriate recognised 4-years tertiary non-teaching qualification (or equivalent) on NQF level 7 plus a recognised trade test plus a 1 year teaching qualification.
• Application should be made on the application form for Employment 156043 and 156094 (obtained from all GRN offices).
• Accompanied by a comprehensive CV.
• Certified copies of educational qualifications and Identity document (ID).
• Applicants with foreign qualifications should attach proof of evaluation letters of their qualifications issued by NQA.
