Position: ASSETS AND MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Assets and Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, tracking and maintenance of all company assets, including equipment, vehicle and facilities. The role ensures assets are properly maintained, compliant and cost-effective to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the company asset register
- Implement preventative and corrective maintenance programs
- Oversee repairs, servicing and contractor coordination
- Monitor asset performance and recommend replacement when necessary
- Manage maintenance budgets and control cots
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Supervise maintenance staff and provide regular reporting to management
Requirements
- Valid code B driving licence
- Computer literate
- Grade 12 certificate
- Minimum 5 year’s experience in asset or maintenance management
- Strong leadership, budgeting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and compliance standards
