Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate teaching and learning in accordance with CBET principles
• Deliver modules in Mental Health Support and Psychosocial Counselling
• Develop lesson plans, study guides, and assessment tools
• Conduct formative and summative assessments
• Support student practicum and workplace-based learning
• Ensure compliance with NQA and institutional quality assurance standards
• Provide mentorship and academic support to students
• Participate in moderation and curriculum review processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Mental Health, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Counselling or Mental Health (advantageous)
• Diploma in Counselling Services (Level 6)
• Minimum 3 years relevant practical experience in mental health or psychosocial support
• Experience in teaching, training, or facilitation (advantageous)
• Assessor and/or Moderator certification (added advantage)
• Strong knowledge of ethical practice and referral systems
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Strong understanding of community mental health challenges
• Ability to integrate theory and practical application
• Emotional intelligence and professionalism
