Key Responsibilities

• ensure safety and security of civil aviation in Namibia
• administer Namibia’s treaty obligations in accordance with the Chicago Convention, among others
• provide for matters incidental thereto

Requirements

• An appropriate Masters-Degree at NQF Level 9 (or an equivalent qualification) either in Aviation, Transport Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management/Strategic Management or Law.
• A minimum ten (10) years’ working experience of which five (5) year should be at a Senior Managerial or Executive Level in the relevant field.
• Previous Board experience in a Public Enterprises as well as business experience and or business acumen would be an added advantage.
• Must be a Namibian citizen.
• Must have no criminal record;
• Applicant must not be currently a member of 2 Boards of Public Enterprises
