FINANCIAL REPORTING SPECIALIST – Bank Windhoek 361 views

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation, accuracy, and timely submission of statutory, regulatory, management, tax, and consolidated financial reporting for Bank Windhoek and selected group entities, in compliance with IFRS, Bank of Namibia, NAMFISA, and tax legislation.
• The role supports audit processes, strengthens financial controls, and contributes to automation and process improvement across financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Completed audit articles with a reputable audit firm.
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS.
• Sound understanding of income tax and indirect taxes.
• Experience with regulatory reporting in a banking environment.
• Advanced Excel, strong MS Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• SAP experience will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting / reporting.
