Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on assigned topics to gather accurate and reliable information
- Write clear, concise and engaging news stories for print and digital platforms that adhere to journalistic standards
- Generate creative story ideas and pitches for editorial approval
- Collaborate with editors and other team members to enhance the quality of news content.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree [NQF Level 7] in Journalism/ Media Studies or related field
- Knowledge of local vernacular will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in using digital tools, social media and multimedia platforms
- Analytical ability
- Strong research capabilities
