CANDIDATE PROFILE AND CORE COMPETENCIES
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Meet & exceed sales targets, develop sales strategies, drive digital retail, and manage promotions to boost profitability.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving issues and fostering excellent service.
- Manage sales budgets while analyzing market trends.
- Developing sales strategies, including special promotions and campaigns.
- Leading, motivating and managing rental agent teams to meet or exceed targets.
- Conducting regular sales meetings and providing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Preparing and monitoring the sales department budget and approving expenditures.
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on quantitative metrics.
- Handling and resolving escalated customer issues with the products or customer service.
- Establishing sales and revenue quotes and monitoring the performance of sales staff.
- Researching market changes and identifying emerging opportunities.
- Nurturing relationships with collaborators and clients.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position within a Car Rental Company.
- Experience within a Car Rental Company is mandatory.
- Effective communication, selling and negotiating skills.
- A passion to succeed in a challenging environment.
- Computer knowledge is mandatory.
- Knowledge of financial accounting systems is an advantage.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points. NQF Level 4.
- Valid Namibian driver’s license.
