PROJECTS ASSISTANT

We are looking for a PROJECTS ASSISTANT to join our tribe!

This position is based at our Headquarters in Windhoek with regular travel to our lodges.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Some standard duties will include manual digging of holes and trenches.
• Laying pipelines and electrical cables.
• Assist with installing solar equipment and water pumps.
• Brickwork, paving, carpentry, welding, concrete work, painting, tiling and plumbing.
• Loading and offloading of trucks.
• Rehabilitation of sites after work is completed.

Requirements:

• Must be a Namibian citizen.
• Valid driver’s license would be of advantage
• At least 2 years work experience in a similar position
• Excellent spoken and written English and/or Afrikaans
• Experience or qualification as a carpenter, plumber, welder or mechanic is essential
• Strong ethics, reliability and attention to detail
• Position requires long and flexible working hours
