Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Engine Department, vessel plants, and equipment, including hull structure and all mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the Engine Department and proper maintenance of vessel plants and equipment
- Responsibilities include and not limited to, the keeping of operational standards and the maintenance and repair of hull structure and all mechanical and electrical equipment
- To administer the planned maintenance systems and administer the SMS budget including purchasing and ensure budgetary control and maintained by all departments
- Repair and maintain all portable firefighting equipment.
- Responsible for maintenance of technical operation records and files for keeping sufficient stock of bunkers and lubricants as well as ordering according to company procedures
- Responsibilities will also include the evaluation of reported nonconformity necessary corrective actions and certifications as required by OQS international integrated management systems, in cooperation with the Master OIM.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Fluent in English and Javanese
- + 10 years of experience in asphalt and seal work
- Qualified and working
- Knowledge of surfacing
- Medically Fit
- Excellent Communication Skill
- Engine officer Class IV
- Certificate of endorsement ATK/AIN Class II
- Basic safety training
- Advanced fire fighting
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats
- Medical First Aid
