Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and maintenance operations.
• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant and machinery in line with operational and safety standards.

Requirements

• Grade 1 2 or equivalent qualification
• Completion of an accredited Millwright Trade Diploma
• A minimum of 4 years experience as a millwright or in a similar position
• In-depth knowledge of Mobile Cranes, Forklifts, Cherry pickers, Overhead cranes, Electric Hoists, Chain blocks and Construction/Mining equipment and machinery Repairs, Installation and Maintenance
• Compressors maintenance and installations
• Lifting equipment inspection and load testing, various electrical circuits wiring and fault finding
• Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be willing to work well under pressure, quickly and confidently to meet deadlines.
