VACANCY
The mission of the LIVESTOCK AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS BOARD OF NAMIBIA (previously Meat Board of Namibia) is to promote a conducive environment for sustainable livestock production, market growth, and diversification for livestock, meat, and livestock products.
The Livestock and Livestock Products Board of Namibia (LLPBN) is looking for a dynamic and experienced:
Position: Administrative Assistant: Operations
Location: Windhoek
Employment Type: Permanent
Principal Accountabilities:

Process daily deposits, flag ear-tag sales timeously, and update EFT records.

Ensure accurate invoicing for online, agent, OTC sales, and Stock Brands, using bank-reflected dates.

Import only paid/flagged orders into Pastel and complete tender lists for verification.

Reconcile daily cash control, matching payments to system invoices and investigating abnormal entries.

Compare cash control with EFT sheets, identify uncollected ear-tags, and follow up with clients.

Maintain a zero customer control balance after invoicing (except month-end timing differences).

Reconcile all permits issued monthly, ensuring correct sequencing and debtor allocation.

Verify border quantities, supporting documents, and levy transactions for accuracy.
-
Ensure levy income is invoiced correctly and received on time.

Ensure all documents are up-to-date, accurately filed, and accessible.

Conduct month-end stock counts and compare manual vs. system stock.

Prepare and submit verified stock reports with closing stock calculations.

Confirm monthly sales figures to determine accurate closing balances.

Perform month-end counts, ensuring correct stock classification, procedures, and issuance accuracy.

Compare actual vs. system stock, compile stock reports, and identify discrepancies.

Submit verified stock reports and calculate closing stock values and cost of sales.
Key Requirements:

Grade 12 (20 points in 5 subjects, and a minimum E-Symbol in English).

Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business Administration will serve as an added advantage.

1–2 years’ relevant experience in the agricultural/livestock industry.
