Business Manager North East

PURPOSE:

The Business Manager is responsible for the management of the Namibia, North Eastern region, based in Tsumeb. His purpose will be to drive sales, grow the company client base and manage total operations structure. To manage the regional offices, and ensure sustainability, and optimal profits.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Regional Office and Operations

• Generate targeted sales and increase client base in region

• Implement and coordinate cost reduction programs.

• Manage regional finance: Cash, POD’s and Debtors.

• Ensure Total Cost Ownership Methodologies are applied.

• Ensure and maintain Optimal Customer Liaisons.

• Manage regional HR matters, employment contracts, performance appraisals and disciplinary action.

• Compile and submit monthly/ weekly reports

• Management regional operations – Vehicle services, tracking, schedules and MDC Charges

• Manage all customer complaints and claims.

• Assist/relieve at any FCS branch when so required

• Represent the company in regional public relations matters.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 with a diploma/degree in related field

• At least 3 years working experience in a similar position

• Valid Driver’s License (B, BE)

• Computer literacy (MS Office)

• Parcel Perfect and, or Vinity Fleet knowledge will be an added advantage

• A self-driven/ motivated person

• Team player

• Communication and interpersonal skills, including influence, persuasiveness and negotiation skills will be critical success factors

• Ability to travel
