Job Title: Maintenance Planner Required

Number of positions: (1) | Internal/External

Division: Maintenance (Husab Site)

Purpose of the Job: The Maintenance Planner is responsible for the effective long and short term planning, scheduling, resourcing and coordination of maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency by the most cost effective methods available

Key Performance Areas:

• • -Develop and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance plans for all equipment systems

  • -Create detailed job plans and scopes including labour, materials, tools and instruction for maintenance tasks

  • -Schedule maintenance activities in coordination with operations and production terms to minimize disruption.

  • -Manage maintenance backlogs and prioritize work orders based on urgency, safety, operational and asset criticality

  • -Review work order compliancy for planned and unplanned maintenance tasks

  • -Coordinate maintenance spares, critical stock and component control requirements and guide technical data for procurement

  • -Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, word orders, parts usage and failure trends.

  • -Support compliancy with health, safety and environmental regulations and internal policies within maintenance day to day operations.

  • -Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance services needed.

  • -Analyse equipment performance and maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements and avoid recurrence.

Minimum Requirements:

• • Qualifications: Grade 12 certificate, Recognized Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic N4/ in the related field, Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License or Higher, SAP experience

  • Experience: 3-5 years Open Pit Mining HME maintenance planning and CMMS experience
