Marketer (Agri & Retail) – Aussenkehr

Our client, with retail branches and specialist brands that offer high-quality farming supplies, solutions, and a broad range of retail products to a diverse customer base has the following opportunity for a driven candidate to drive sales and marketing of Agri and retail products in the Aussenkehr and surrounding areas.

MARKETER (AGRI & RETAIL) Aussenkehr

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with supportive inhouse sales courses or NQF 5 Diploma

• Minimum 4 years related experience

• Good interpersonal skills

• The ability to build and maintain good customer relationships

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• The ability to function independently and under pressure

• Supplier networking advantageous but not a prerequisite

• NB: Your own transport is an inherent requirement

• Namibian citizenship and/or Namibian passport is mandatory with a valid work VISA

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong, value-adding relationships with customers and stakeholders.

• Conduct market research and assist with product sourcing, negotiation, and procurement.

• Report and interpret marketing and operational data using platforms such as AgriSMART and QlikView.

• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and good governance practices throughout the marketing function.

• Support clients with technical product advice, guidance, and solutions to enhance customer value.

• Actively market agricultural and retail products to existing and new customers.

• Handle day-to-day administration and general ad-hoc responsibilities as required.

• Coordinate logistics relating to product deliveries and stock availability.

• Use business networks and relationships to identify and secure new business opportunities.

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate product quotations and after-sales support.

• Apply digital tools and technology to improve processes, customer experience, and overall business efficiency.
