Welwitschia University is inviting applications for the following vacancy.

EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT

Positions: 5x ICT Part-Time Lecturers
Duty Stations: Nkurenkuru, Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Outapi and Katima Mulilo

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Conduct lectures in ICT courses: theoretical with balanced hands-on practicals.

• Supervise and mentor students on thesis projects and practical assignments that facilitate academic and professional growth.

• Develop and update engaging course materials, lesson plans, multimedia content, and practical exercises that are industry relevant.

• Design, administer, and grade assessments and provide feedback.

• Contribute to departmental initiatives, curriculum development and review, and administrative processes.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and pedagogical practices in the ICT field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A master’s degree in computer science/information systems/information technology/ informatics (NQF Level 9).

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems/ information technology/informatics (NQF Level 8).

• Three (3) years of lecturing experience at the tertiary level.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong command of ICT applications and digital content production tools.
