 Track Dozer Operators Required

Job Details:

• Number of positions (4) | Internal/External

• Division: Mining (Husab Site)

Purpose of the Job:

The Track dozer operator will operate bull dozers to move earth and materials, level and maintain mining operating areas, carry out construction projects and maintain mining dumps.

Key Performance Areas:

• Operating – Safely and effective operation of a Track Dozer

• Mining areas and haul roads maintenance for safe operation of haul trucks

• Construction – Maintain and construct road to design levels and elevation

• Safety – Compliance to all company safety rules and regulations, identity and reports risks.

• Spatial Awareness – High concentration and awareness to safely manoeuvre large equipment

• Communication – With supervisors, dispatcher, and other operators via radio or other means

• Reporting – Inspect equipment, record and report defects, Report hours and work done

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications:

• • Grade 10 or 12 certificate

  • Code B driver’s license is compulsory

  • Operator Certificate of Competence on CAT D9, CAT 375D or similar dozers

Experience:

• • At least 3 years’ experience as a Track Dozer Operator

Knowledge and Skills:

• • Good communication skills

  • Knowledge of how to carry out a pre-start checks

  • General open pit mining knowledge

  • Safe driving and accurate record keeping
