Established in 1996 in Botswana, the company has established branches in Lesotho, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa in 2007, 2009 and 2013 respectively. Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd, registered in 2015, located at 26 Bensburger Street, Lafrenz; Windhoek, specializes in larger scale projects ranging from road and bridge construction, water and sewer services, residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure development.

3. PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and oversee the execution of construction and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Manage project teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project objectives.

• Monitor project progress, prepare reports and identify potential risks or delays.

• Liaise with clients, consultants and site management to ensure effective communication and problem resolution.

• Ensure compliance with contractual, safety and quality requirements.

• Participate in tender preparation, scheduling and resource planning activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience in project management within a construction industry.

• Good knowledge of FIDIC or similar forms of contract.

• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

• Preference will be given to Namibian citizens or those with valid Namibian work permits.
