DEPARTMENT: INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES

1x POST: HOD: INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES (PATTERSON D4)

• Salary scale: 352 651 – 366 898

• Housing allowance: 40% of basic salary with a bond
  20% of basic salary without a bond

• Vehicle Allowance: 98 106.00 per annum

Main Purpose of Position

Provide leadership of the department by planning, directing, controlling and administering the affairs of the department by formulating the vision of Council with regard to infrastructure, Town Planning and Technical Services.

Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience Required

• B. Degree: NQF Level 7, in Technical Engineering/ Land Management.

• Honours & Masters will be an added advantage.

• 8 Years appropriate experience, with 3 years of which was in supervisory capacity.

• Local Authority experience will serve as an added advantage.

Special Requirements

• Driving license code BE

• Project Management

• Registration with Engineering Council of Namibia (SE)

• Peace Officer

• Registration as Professional Engineer incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia
