Company: Namibia Drydock and Ship Repair (Pty) Ltd (NAMDOCK)

Description: Seeking qualified artisan or semi-skilled to be added to their database for prospective projects.

Skills Needed:

• • Boilermaking

  • Electrician

  • Welding

  • Carpentry and Upholstery

  • Fitter and Turner (Mechanical, Pipe Fitters, Maintenance, Valve)

  • Diesel Mechanic

  • Fire Watch

  • Safety Officer

  • Rigging

  • Spray or Maintenance Painting

  • Grit/Abrasive Blasters

  • Drivers

  • Equipment Operators (e.g. Boom Lift Operator, Forklift and Crane)

Minimum Requirements for Artisans:

• • A 3-year National Vocational Certificate at NQF Level 3 of the specific discipline.

  • Three (3) years post apprenticeship experience in specific or related discipline.

Minimum Requirements for Semi-skilled Positions:

• • High school Grade 10/Vocational Trade certificate Level 1 in the specific trade of interest.

  • One year (1) of experience in specific discipline or must complete level 1 apprenticeship.
