Senior Exploration Geologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret geological data using 3D modelling software; familiarity with underground resource/reserve modelling of gold deposits.

• Oversee daily drilling operations, including coordination with contractors and internal teams.

• Supervise and mentor a team of field geologists and technicians to ensure high-quality geological logging, sampling, and data recording.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational protocols on site.

• Produce regular geological reports, including progress summaries, data interpretation, and recommendations.

• Contribute to ongoing exploration strategy through accurate data and field-based insights.

• Provide ongoing mentorship and training to junior staff to facilitate capacity development.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Geology or related Earth Sciences field.

• 10 years of relevant experience in mineral exploration or mining geology, including at least half for gold.

• Strong field leadership skills and operational discipline.

• Proficient in geological software and 3D modelling (knowledge of Micro_mine is a must).

• Experience with resource modelling, particularly underground, is a must.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work in remote environments under minimal supervision.

• Competent Person for resource reporting under the JORC code.
