The Kombat Mine Project has the following operation-restart project opportunities, based in Kombat.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER- CONTRACT

• The incumbent shall report to Projects Manager and be accountable for planning, coordinating, and managing all the construction activities for the brownfields copper facility
  project. This includes ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance while managing contractor, supervising construction teams, and maintaining strong interface with operations, engineering, procurement, and EPCM teams.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 10+ years of construction experience in mining or heavy industrial projects with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Minimum 10 – 15 years in a project environment with working with multiple engineering disciplines and managing various EPCM (EPC) contractors, of which 5 should be at senior management level.

• Proven track record in brownfields projects, preferably mining, smelting, or mineral processing.

• Strong knowledge of Namibian Labour laws including safety regulations and construction codes.

• Excellent leadership, technical and problem-solving skills including verbal and written communication skills are essential.
