The Kombat Mine Project has the following operation-restart project opportunities, based in Kombat.

PROJECT SAFETY OFFICER

• The incumbent shall report to SHEQ Manager and be accountable for ensuring that contractors comply with the company’s safety processes/regulations, applicable standards
  and driving the implementation thereof, including monitoring and reporting on compliance. Specifically the contractors’ requirement procedures amongst other deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.

• NEBOSH and SAMTRAC certification is advantageous.

• Minimum 10 years experience in safety, health and quality environment in the mining, engineering projects and or construction industry.

• Extensive experience with SAMTRAC, SHEQ/OSAT or NQSA safety systems or equivalent.

• In-depth understanding and working knowledge of safety, health and environmental requirements in an industrial plant or construction environment.

• The ability to liaise and communicate with various internal stakeholders.

• Good reporting and facilitation skills
