Multimedia Designer Trainee (x2)

Our designers help shape stories by choosing how best to use visuals, text, audio and graphics to give readers clear and engaging experiences.

Responsibilities:

• • Design and develop graphics, layouts, and visual features to enhance news stories across all platforms.

  • Contribute to the production of interactive and experimental storytelling formats.

  • Upload and update news content for the website, App, and ePaper.

  • Prepare and adapt content for social media platforms.

  • Support the livestreaming of events, programmes, and videography.

  • Deliver accurate, creative work under deadline pressure, incorporating feedback and maintaining high editorial standards.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator.

• • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design or related field.

  • Solid computer literacy with experience in layout and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite

  • Working knowledge of design, photography, visual arts, sound and video production, as well as website content management.
