Description
Postal and Courier Service Administration
Maintains an up-to-date electronic database of Postal and courier regulatory services;
Administers and implement activities relating to Postal and courier services in accordance with the applicable standards and requirements;
Assists in monitoring the adherence to postal and courier license conditions and escalate non-compliance;
Research, benchmark and recommend improvements to the rules and procedures for meeting public, commercial and non-commercial demand for postal and courier;
Implements and administers the national addressing system;
Assists with ensuring that the public post licensee is able to provide postal services;
Implements the established and set minimum QoS and KPI standards for the postal and courier;
Assists in monitoring the postal and courier licensees to ensure compliance to the postal and courier systems and the Communications Act;
Assists in the investigation and enforcement of compliance breaches in respect of postal and courier services.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Identifies complaints by customers and licensees, explain license terms and service quality expectations;
Escalates customer complaints that warrants investigations to the Regulatory and Legal Department.
Communicates with licensees on coverage and quality issues to ensure identification of user demands and recommend resolutions;
Liaises with relevant international organisations and bodies with regard to postal and courier services;
Liaises and engages the SADC Regulatory organisations to conduct cross border coordination on postal and courier services;and
Engage and create awareness amongst postal and courier users with regard to CRAN licensing procedures and requirements.
Requirements
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics Sciences or relevant qualification;
Three (3) to Four (4) years’ experience within the postal, courier or e-commerce industry;
Valid code BE Driver’s license;
Problem solving and Customer relations;
Competent user of MS Office packages; and
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit proof of Namibian Police clearance.
