The Challenge:

The Chief pharmacist manages the Namdeb Hospital Dispensary in compliance with the laid down legal pharmacy act and professional responsibilities providing collaborative pharmaceutical care working in conjunction with other health care professionals. The incumbent will have a strong clinical background, a passion for excellence in patient care, a drive for innovation and a proven track record in hospital pharmacy management/ leadership.

Minimum Requirements for the Position: 

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) Degree recognized as a qualified Pharmacist in terms of the Namibian Pharmacy Act
• Registered with the Namibian Pharmacy Board
• At least Four (4) to Six (6) years of post-registration experience, of which at least two (2) years in hospital and retail pharmacy experience in a managerial position.
• Code 08 Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Ms Word, Excel, Ms PowerPoint).
