The Role
• Responsible for check-in of passenger and allocation of seats.
• Maintains and monitors standby lists for flights.
• Responsible for passenger’s safety on apron (escorting passengers to the aircraft).
• Responsible for dealing with passenger enquiries.
• Assisting passengers with delays and luggage.
• Assisting passengers with special needs.
• Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Company Standards as laid out in the manuals of procedure, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
• Will assist with any additional tasks within the context of the job description.
The Requirements
• The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant CRS (Computer Reservation System).
• 5 Year working experience within the Hospitality Industry.
• Travel diploma in Travel and Tourism will be an advantage.
• Computer literate on Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must have good telephone manners and negotiation skills.
• Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Namibian Citizen
• Valid driver license will be and advantage.
• Strong habits: Team Inclination, Discipline, Conflict Handling & Self Confidence
