The company is based in Walvis Bay and operates in the Horse Mackerel industry. EME has an exemplary record in respect of its fishing operations as well as its focus on socio-economic investment and development, both regionally and nationally. EME has the following vacancy:
Finance Manager

The position reports to the EME Financial Director and the purpose of this role is to oversee the end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, make improvements to procedures and controls, take the lead on ad-hoc projects, provide business partnering support as well as oversee compliance to all statutory compliances and good accounting practices.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

⦁ The applicant must be a Namibian citizen
⦁ A degree in Accounting with Completed Articles
⦁ CA (NAM, SA), CIMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage
⦁ Eight (8) years related experience of which 4-5 years as a Finance Manager and leading a team
⦁ Experience and knowledge in FMCG will be an advantage
⦁ Advanced technical accounting and tax knowledge
⦁ Good business acumen
