Job Description

Undertake an MSc in veterinary medicine (Veterinary Pathology)
Develop veterinary skills specifically in veterinary pathology including histopathology through “on-the-job training” at the School of Veterinary Medicine
Assist with the day-to-day post-mortems and in the histopathology lab at the Neudamm campus
Assist with practical work and research (Pathology) in service delivery and student training
Assist with the development of teaching material
Assist with practical training of BVM undergraduates in pathology and histopathology

Requirements

A veterinarian with a BVM (or equivalent) in veterinary medicine/science and demonstrable interest/ experience in Veterinary Pathology. Unconditional registration as a veterinarian in Namibia, alternatively, qualification(s) should enable the candidate to be immediately registered with the Namibian Veterinary Council.
