MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

⦁ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification on NQF Level 7
Two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar environment, revenue control.
Skills required in Financial accounting systems, Handling Creditors, Financial Planning, Time Management, Customer Care, and Communication skills.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

The input of meter readings on the computer (Nomtsoub and Tsumeb town)
⦁ Preparation of accounts for new consumers and final accounts;
Adjustments of wrong meter readings on reports;
Processing of internal journals, credit notes, and debit notes;
⦁ Responsible for all telephonic, and written inquiries related to Nomtsoub and Town accounts;
Alteration to Master files with the transfer of properties;
Creation of new debtor master files;
Processing of levies for all sundry accounts;
Booking of the Community Hall, UN Parks, Oscar Norich, PA System, etc.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFIT
A competitive remuneration package that includes a basic salary of N$193,357.07pa, annual and sick leave. Pension Fund (21.7% Council contribution), Medical Aid (85%/15%), 13th Cheque, Housing Allowance (40% of basic salary if you own a house with a mortgage bond and 20% if you do not own a house).
