PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Naankuse Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee our organization’s procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure that the organization obtains high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. The Procurement Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to optimize procurement processes and manage relationships.
Responsibilities include:
⦁ Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
⦁ Manage the organization’s procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of goods and services.
⦁ Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
⦁ Negotiate contracts and terms of agreement with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible pricing and payment terms.
⦁ Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure continuity of supply and delivery.
⦁ Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement plans that meet those needs.
⦁ Monitor and report on procurement activities, including supplier performance, inventory levels, and delivery times.
⦁ Implement procurement best practices to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
⦁ Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
⦁ Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on Industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Cham Management, or a related field
⦁ Sf years of experience In procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a management role.
⦁ Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, including strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
⦁ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
⦁ Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of procurement professionals.
⦁ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
⦁ Knowledge of procurement software and systems
