The Challenge
Suitably qualified Namibian candidates, to apply for a vacancy as Assistant Teacher to perform duties contributing to
the education of the whole child, attending to intellectual, emotional, and physical development at the primary
school level.
The position aims at affording teaching graduates an opportunity to gain experience whilst aiding in the teaching of
primary school learners whilst under the supervision of a qualified and experienced teacher.

Ideal Applicant:
• Must be in possession of a four-year Teaching Diploma or a relevant degree specializing in either JP or SP
teaching.
• Applicants in their last year of studies providing a letter stating that they graduate the following may apply.
• Proficiency and fluency in English is essential.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Candidates will be expected to become fully involved in the extra-curricular programmes of the school.
• Candidates must be computer literate (MS Packages).
• Passionate about teaching.
• Organizing and coordinating skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
