CONSULTANT: MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER – NIPDB 502 views

Job Purpose:
The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for conceptualising, designing and creating visual content for digital, print and other media platforms. The purpose of the role is to create high end visual content to support the NIPDB’s marketing communication interventions and aligned to the organisation’s strategic objectives and brand identity.

Role and Responsibilities:
Conceptualise, design and produce visual content based on organisational needs and creative briefs
Develop multimedia content including but not limited to advertisements, PowerPoint presentations, business cards, (animated) videos, interactive websites, newsletters and corporate publications with high visual impact
In collaboration with the Strategy & Branding team, design and create visual content such as graphics, illustrations, animations to be used in marketing material and social media and other forms of communications
Utilise the latest technologies to create relevant content
Conceptualize visuals based on brief requirements
Prepare mockups and rough sketches to present design ideas for final approval
Perform the required edits based on stakeholder feedback
Ensure all NIPDB visual content are aesthetically appealing and in line with the branding requirements
Conduct research on different design techniques in order to stay abreast of changing industry trends
Perform other functions and duties as might be assigned by management from time to time.

Qualification and Experience Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, New Media, Fine Art or Multimedia Media is imperative
At least 3 – 5 years proven experience in layout, graphic and multimedia design design
A portfolio of multimedia design content completed in the last two years, to showcase skills and experience
Experience with programmes such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw as well as web publishing and programming software
Knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and other emerging technologies will be an added advantage
