Job Purpose:
The Senior Consultant/Consultant in the PMO will be responsible for supporting the Chief Executive
Officer. They will handle day-to-day items delegated by the CEO including attending some meetings with the CEO, taking notes and ensuring follow up on all action items. The applicant will also oversee various aspects of managing the logistics of the CEO’s daily work as well as contribution to the strategic objectives, including presentations and interactions with colleagues and various stakeholders (OMAs, Investors, Multilateral organisations, etc). The applicant will support the CEO in several ways to ensure the NIPDBs goals and initiatives are met.
Role and Responsibilities:
Technical Assistant to the CEO
Point of contact in the CEOs office for responsibilities relating to SME/Innovation/Digitalization & Skills.
Representative of CEOs office on internal and external working committees
Overseas any consultants and interns in the Project Management Office
Planning, coordinating and keeping contents of CEOs meetings focused
Ensure that timely follow-up action is taken and that the CEO commitments and agreements are appropriately actioned and met
Overseeing strategic initiatives in the CEOs office from ideation to implementation (including concept writing)
Facilitating and ensuring implementation plans of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with various partners relating to MSME/Innovation/Digitalization & Skills.
Providing comprehensive professional support service to the CEO in all aspects relating to efficient and successful operation of the CEO’s office (including presentations, talking points etc.)
Providing necessary feedback to stakeholders
Providing support and organisational coordination for special projects and initiatives within NIPDB relating to MSME/Innovation/Digitalization & Skills.
Outline the responsibilities of various stakeholders on each project.
Manage all aspects of projects -including meeting timelines, costs targets, quality requirements, and budget constraints.
Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.
Monitors and coordinates activities of project team members to ensure project progresses on schedule.
Prepare project status reports and keep stakeholders updated as required.
Design and implement a Project Management Dashboard Reporting System
Qualification and Experience Requirements
A degree in relevant fields of study such as Economics, Accounting, Commerce and other Economic/Business Fields
A passion for MSMEs and proven experience in working in an MSMEs oriented-environment
Experience in an environment focused on bringing innovative solutions to MSMEs
Previous experience in a similar role will be an added advantage
Experience in project management with a focus on client/stakeholder communication
Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
