SYSTEM ANALYST – NIPDB 536 views

Job Purpose:
The role is responsible to ensure the user requirements are properly determined, documented and provided to the respective system developers. The incumbent will also be responsible to ensure that NIPDB’s staff are properly trained to use all required systems and software applications. The incumbent will also make sure business processes and
controls are properly mapped and implemented on all systems.
The role will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of all NIPDB related websites.

Role and Responsibilities:
Gather, document and present user requirement specifications.
Document business processes and controls.
Documenting and reporting of systemissues and bugs.
Liaise with system implementers and/or developers to make sure requirements are implemented as per specifications.
Test all changes and new implementations on systems.
Design and develop system reports based on user requirements.
Make changes to Websites via the Content Management Systems.
Basic maintenance and upkeep of the Content Management Systems and Websites.
Create user training & procedure manuals and provide user training on the system.
Provide user support on the systems to both internal and external users.
Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external clients to perform their duties.
Perform any other operationally required tasks that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

A relevant 3 year degree (B.Sc or B.Com) with 3-5 years’ experience Or
A relevant certificate with 7-10 years’ experience
Above average proficiency in standard office applications like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Programming skills will be an added advantage
A valid driver’s license.
