Job Specification:

Maintaining records of transactions up to trial balance;

• Managing and preparing general ledger account reconciliations;
• Reviewing control, suspense and clearing accounts and take corrective actions;
• Managing monthly month -end processes and ensures accuracy and completeness of production and financial journals;
• Processing, reviewing and administering Risk Finance (Cell Captive) transactions;
• Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality;
• Assisting with monthly tax submissions;
• Assisting with creditors, policy holder and intermediary payments;
• Attending to audit queries;
• Assisting and preparing of financial and statutory reports,
• Performing additional responsibilities and duties as required; and
• Collaborating effectively with others to achieve results.

Minimum Requirements

• Namibian Citizenship;
• Grade 12 with a minimum with 25 points;
• Tertiary BTech | Bcom Degree;
• 2 – 3 years in the finance environment;
• Completed articles will be an added advantage;
