MULTI-SKILLED OPERATOR (B2) – SCM BEDROCK AND STRIPPING (REF. NO. SCM/2022-001) (FOR NAMDEB PERMANENT, FTC AND TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES ONLY)

The Challenge

To operate a range of mining production and non-production machines within the various mining sites safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures to achieve planned targets and delivery of quality services.

The ideal applicant

• Grade 10 (24 points over 7 subjects including a E-symbol in English).
• Code 08 Driver’s license.
• Assessments will be conducted (Vienna Dover Assessment).
• One-year general driving experience and work experience acquired through successful completion of requisite and optional machines and vehicles.
• Previous supervision experience and exposure will be an added advantage.
• Previous knowledge and experience in the operating of all earthmoving machines, will be an advantage.
• Namdeb employees will be given preference.
• Excellent safety awareness and good track record.
• Preference will be given to fully vaccinated employees meeting the requirements
