PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Production of a variety of paints and related products according to procedures and quality requirements

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• To perform production and manufacturing processes according to procedures
• Record processes followed and materials used
• Interact with controllers for raw materials and with Quality Testing staffs for quality tests
• Update Supervisor or Manager on progress and/or challenges
• Perform basic maintenance and up keeping on production equipment
• Perform tasks as instructed by Supervisor or Manager
• Keep the work area clean and tidy at all times
• Comply with health and safety requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, COMPENTENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be able to work independently
• Good communication and writing skills

The following shall be an added advantage:

• Previous experience in Production will be an advantage
• Knowledge of raw materials
• Forklift License
