Job Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the management of the plant operations, including:

• Promoting a Safe and Healthy work environment
• Safety records and accident rate statistics
• Process Management Effectiveness
• Meeting production targets
• Product quality
• Budgeting and Cost control
• Staff Management
• Process Efficiency
• Laboratory Effectiveness
• Tailings Dam maintenance

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements:

• Sc. Metallurgy or Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 10 years’ experience in process plant operations management
• Experience in grinding and froth flotation an added advantage
• Experience in Graphite processing an added advantage.
