CONTRACT DETAILS: Permanent

POSITION LOCATION: Windhoek, Khomas Region, Namibia

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Take responsibility for the management of the Namibian Operations
• Manage 3 to 5 car carriers & associated staff
• Route planning
• Update and maintain data in VTS (in-house system), including the tracking of carriers
• Customer service within dealer base (ensuring that on time service delivery is met)
• Marketing the service offering of VDS
• Managing fleet expenses (including fuel & repairs and maintenance associated with the fleet)
• Ensuring optimal planning and fleet utilisation
• Ensuring conformance to security / health and safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Formal commercial business qualifications will be beneficial
• Previous exposure within the transport / logistics / vehicle dealership industry
• Computer literacy is essential
• Strong focus on customer relations / quality
• Excel intermediate / advance knowledge and experience
• Ability to be on standby 24 hours per day / 7 days per week
