Key Accounts Manager
Purpose
To pro-actively and aggressively market and sell the company’s corporate lighting and industrial product range, consult, and offer sound advice to customers, provide exceptional levels of customer service by exceeding all expectations and commitments, thereby enabling the company to grow in sales and profits.
Requirements
• Grade 12;
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
• Three (3) years’ experience in electrical Engineering;
• Knowledge of Low & Medium Voltage electrification;
• Knowledge of sales and corporate lighting and industrial products would serve as an added advantage;
• Sound negotiation skills, excellent communication skills and computer skills;
• Must be proactive and service oriented;
• A highly self-starter and team player.
Key Result Areas
• Key Account Management;
• Identify sales opportunities with existing or new accounts by pursuing every opportunity to increase wallet share, grow and diversify the company’s revenue base;
• Sourcing of new business;
• Identify and acquire potential tender opportunities and liaise with the tender administrator for actions;
• Assist procurement with sourcing, research market to identify potential customers, products, and market trends;
• Support the tender Administration team to address special conditions, risks and opportunities;
• Support customers with their tenders (indirect tenders) analyse requirements, recommend product solutions, and provide BOM/BOQ pricing with accurate costing.
Personal
• Partake in stock takes;
• Assist with cycle counts when assigned;
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
