PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organisation, to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. Responsible to assist the Sales team to analyse. plan. co-ordinate support, implement programs and provide services involving marketing, promotions, pricing, and distribution of the Feedmaster brands

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, implement and monitor Marketing/Sales strategy
• Ensuring advertisements, planning and implementation of PR and related resources to ensure customer and market share retention. Ensuring customer and market share growth to achieve approved budget goals in turn achieving market leadership and organisational growth in line with Vision. Values and long-term strategic requirements of the Company.
• Analyse profitability of existing products and make pro-active recommendations
• Manage customer complaints and satisfaction according to ISO 22000 food safety standards.
• Promote corporate image, brands, reputation, and product ranges via internal and external communication and being responsible for brand building activities
• Establish beneficial contact and trading alliances with customers, consumers, suppliers, agents, depots, marketing channels, distribution channels and marketing agencies to optimise profitability. Continually review trading and distribution channels to optimise profitability
• Provide Marketing and Sales support.
• Compiling and control annual budgets for Marketing and Sales department
• Channel and manage price guidelines

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION

• Degree in Marketing or BSc Agric with minimum 5 years experience m Marketing and Sales
• Must be able to read, write and speak English and Afrikaans
• Namibian Citizen.
