VACANCY: TECHNICAL GENERAL MANAGER

Green Building Construction Namibia (Pty) Ltd Is developing the Windhoek Waterfront project on Erf 3379 at Goreangab Dam Extension 5. The project is a mixed-use development which includes residential, commercial, institutional and recreational and entertainment facilities.

DUTIES:

The job is very dynamic spanning all stages of the building project from the concept design to town planning, working design, pre-construction, construction and phase- by-phase completion.

These stages include amongst others liaising with Town council for development and planning policies, studying market demand, concept design, working with architects and town planners towards plans for approval, negotiation/amendment process with Town council and stakeholders, developing technical briefs and complete working drawings with architects and engineers, acquiring building permits, managing tender process to select contractors and suppliers, monitoring construction process and progress, payments certification and acceptance of works, and finally the stage ofselling/Ieasing units^

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualifications in the fields of architecture, town planning, urban design, construction engineering and project management are necessary.

EXPERIENCE:

The candidate need to have a proven experience in managing and completion of mixed-use projects of similar scale and complexity from land servicing till the establishment of a complete township accompanied by having been in the field for 10 years or more.
