Wildlife Conservation Donor Portfolio Manager and Fund Operations

Minimum Requirements
- Graduate degree, preferably in the field of finance/economics and/or conservation
- Training in Wildlife Management
- 3-5 years working experience working in wildlife conservation projects
- Experience with multi-disciplinary teams, as well as familiarity with the Southern African Region would be a strong asset
- Determine funding needs and write compelling and convincing proposals for trusts and foundations to secure funding
- Manage a mixed portfolio of funders at to best practice standards, ensuring reporting deadlines are met, terms and conditions for grants are satisfied
- Ability to create robust constituent profiles in your donor database
- Develop and maintain income and expenditure tracking and evaluations systems
- Understanding of wildlife foundation operations of animal care, specifically with lions, cheetahs and endangered species
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Afrikaans, Dutch, Spanish, French and German
- Ability to maintain relationships with international donors and giving history to inform fundraising appeals
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, AdWords and WebTrends etc.)
- Understanding of HTML, WordPress, CSS and XML is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
