WAGON CLEANER X3 – (FIXED TERM CONTRACT 6 MONTHS) – TSUMEB, NAMIBIA 1070 views

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The incumbent will report to the Logistics Supervisor and be accountable for:
• Cleaning of Rail Wagons.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Placing trash and debris in trash containers.
• Maintaining a clean and debris free work area.
• Cleaning of the rail network line inside the smelter area.
• Clearing, sweeping, shovel loose debris and salvageable scrap into containers.
• Using power wash equipment to assist with cleaning (i.e. Water, brushes and hoses).
• Reporting any damage, defects on rail line to the Equipment Supervisor immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• A pass in Grade 12 with a minimum of 23 points.
• Minimum one of (1) year experience as cleaner of rail wagons and rail network line.
• Familiarity with Materials Safety Data Sheets (i.e. Copper Concentrates).
• Must know how to use power wash equipment.
• Communication skills and the ability to work as a team.
• Ability to walk, bend, push and lift repetitively during working hours.
• Code B driver’s license.
